Ready to take your Rally skills a little further? Open Rally builds on the foundation skills learned in Rally Foundations while introducing more advanced exercises, greater precision, and increased teamwork between dog and handler. Dogs will continue working through complete Rally courses while developing confidence, accuracy, and reliability in a fun and encouraging group environment. Classes focus on refining individual Rally exercises, learning the additional skills required for higher level courses, and completing a variety of course layouts that prepare teams for both everyday enjoyment and Rally competition. Like Rally Foundations, this class is designed to be enjoyed more than once. Every six-week session features different course designs, new challenges, and continued coaching to help teams build confidence and polish their skills. Many competitors continue attending Open Rally while actively Trialling, using class time to improve consistency, troubleshoot challenges, and prepare for higher-level courses. Whether your goal is to earn Rally titles or simply continue enjoying the sport with your dog, Open Rally offers ongoing opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun together. Prerequisites: Successful completion of Rally Foundations (or equivalent Rally experience) and instructor approval. Dogs should be confident working off leash, demonstrate reliable focus around other dogs and handlers, and have a solid understanding of Novice Rally skills.
