Service Description

Manners 2 Turn good behaviour into lifelong habits. Your dog knows the skills—now it’s time to make them reliable. Manners 2 is all about proofing what you’ve already learned by introducing the three D’s of dog training: duration, distraction, and distance. As your dog gains confidence, we’ll gradually expect them to take more responsibility for their own behaviour, making good choices without needing constant reminders from their handler. We’ll strengthen everyday skills in increasingly realistic situations, helping your dog remain calm, focused, and polite even when life gets busy. Whether it’s waiting patiently at a doorway, walking nicely through distractions, greeting people politely, or settling while you enjoy a coffee, your dog will learn that good manners apply everywhere—not just in class. This course builds thoughtful, confident dogs that understand self-control and make good decisions because those behaviours have become habits. Prerequisite : Graduates of Manners 1 or dogs with a solid foundation in basic obedience. You’ll leave with: A dog that’s more dependable in everyday life and ready to continue into Rally Foundations or any of our other Bluewater Dog Sports programs.
