Service Description

Lost & Found – Seeker Skills Inspired by real-world search and rescue skills, Lost & Found teaches dogs to use their incredible noses to search for a specific person or item. In Seeker Skills, dog and handler work as a team. Your dog learns to investigate a scent article — such as a sock or glove — and then head out on a search to find the matching target. Dogs work on leash while they build the foundations of scent discrimination, searching, teamwork and confidence. Courses may take place indoors or outdoors, with new search challenges each week. This is not a class you need to “finish” in six weeks. Seeker Skills is designed to be taken again and again, allowing dogs to practise different searches, strengthen their skills and progress at their own pace. Every class offers something new. Perfect for enrichment, teamwork, building confidence — or for teams interested in eventually competing at the Seeker level in Lost & Found.
