Stop the pulling ! Start enjoying your walks !

45 Canadian dollars
Lochiel Kiwanis Building

Service Description

Walking your dog shouldn’t feel like a workout. This one-session workshop is designed to help you reduce pulling and improve your dog’s leash manners right away using clear, practical training techniques. We focus on building engagement, rewarding the correct position, and teaching dogs how to stay with their handler instead of pulling ahead. You’ll learn what to do when the leash gets tight, how to prevent pulling before it starts, and how to create better habits on your everyday walks. This is not about perfect heeling—it’s about giving you the skills to walk your dog more comfortably and with less frustration. This workshop covers: *Getting your dog’s attention on walks *Reinforcing the correct walking position *What to do when the leash becomes tight *Using simple patterns to improve focus and consistency Suitable for: Dogs who pull on leash but can work around other dogs in a group setting. Please bring: Flat collar or harness, standard leash (no retractables), and a generous supply of soft, high-value treats. Prerequisite - None
